I must admit, when the delivery truck pulled up and unloaded this gigantic box, I thought, for sure, there was an error, and I was going to end up with someone's furniture. Upon opening the box, I was quite impressed with the way everything was packaged. It would have taken a major catastrophe to cause any damage to the paintings. I was hoping to matte and frame before I gave it as a Christmas gift, but I won't have the time to get that done until after the holidays. Just wanted you to know that Venezia arrived safe and sound (great packaging) and is being framed. It is absolutely beautiful and i thank you so much for working with me to get it. Our daughter has studied so hard for 4 years at Vanderbilt and will be totally speechless when she receives this.

I realize that a painting for graduation is a bit unusual but most college grads didn't spend their teen age years overseas within an hour's drive of Venice either. This particular scene will always remind us of the last weekend we spent in Italy walking from the train station to Piazza San Marco and the scene was EXACTLY like S. Sam Park's painting.
